WILL I LOOK OVERDONE AFTER MY BOTOX AND DYSPORT INJECTIONS?

Botox and Dysport are a technique sensitive treatment. You should not lose the ability to show expression. Our nurses are licensed and trained medical experts in facial anatomy. We offer complimentary consultations to discuss the results you want from treatment.

HOW MUCH BOTOX OR DYSPORT WILL I NEED?

The amount of Botox or Dysport a patient will need is impossible to tell for certain without an evaluation by one of our nurses. For an estimate specific to your facial structure, it is best to schedule a complimentary consultation.

WHAT DO I NEED TO AVOID AFTER MY BOTOX INJECTION?

The injection site should not be touched or massaged for the first 4 hours after treatment. The muscles in the treated area should be contracted (smile and frown) every 15 minus for 3-4 hours following treatment. Do not exercise or consume alcohol for the first 24 hours. Light makeup can be applied one hour after treatment.

DOES DYSPORT LAST LONGER THAN BOTOX?*

On average, Dysport injections last for about three to four months, while Botox can last for about four to six. While both injections use the same neurotoxin to prevent folds and lines from forming. They have minor differences that can affect how long they last. As always, results will be different per person.*

Understanding Dynamic Wrinkles

Botox targets dynamic wrinkles. These are also known as expression lines or static wrinkles. This type of wrinkling is a groove in the skin created by repetitive facial muscle movements. For example, we make dynamic wrinkles whenever we make an exaggerated facial expression like a smile, frown, or scowl. These grooves become more noticeable as we age, mainly in the most expressive areas of the face, like the eyes, brows, and forehead.
